Big Backstage Update on Jordynne Grace’s WWE Contract – Jordynne Grace’s WWE signing continues to make waves, and new details have emerged regarding her future with the company.
Grace’s appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble was a major surprise, but it also confirmed her status as a WWE star. Entering the match at #19, the former TNA Knockouts Champion was officially recognized as a signed talent. This came after she wrapped up her TNA commitments at Genesis, where she was last seen in action. Prior to the Rumble, Grace had downplayed the idea of appearing, citing her mother’s 50th birthday as her reason for not being in town. However, her entrance in the Rumble match put those doubts to rest.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Grace signed a five-year contract with WWE, which will keep her with the company through 2029. While she was initially expected to join the main roster right away, new reports suggest that she will instead start in NXT. However, the expectation is that her time in NXT will be short-lived before she makes the jump to RAW or SmackDown.
Despite beginning in NXT, Grace is reportedly under a main-roster-level contract, meaning she is being paid at the same tier as a main roster talent. Additionally, Grace has retained the rights to both her name and theme song, as she owns them herself.
As of now, Grace is not expected to appear on the February 6 episode of NXT, but her official debut in WWE programming beyond the Royal Rumble remains highly anticipated.
