LA Knight Shoots on Drew McIntyre – Drew McIntyre made his presence felt on the latest episode of this week’s WWE SmackDown, addressing his frustrations and explaining why the blue brand suits him better than RAW.
The Scottish Warrior admitted he was furious about his Royal Rumble elimination at the hands of Damian Priest, even confessing to breaking a few things backstage in frustration. McIntyre described his experience on RAW as toxic, blaming egos and backstage politics for his dissatisfaction.
However, McIntyre wasn’t alone for long, as Jimmy Uso interrupted his promo. In a sarcastic moment, McIntyre referred to Jimmy as Jey Uso, joking that after 20 years, he still struggles to tell them apart. Before tensions could escalate, LA Knight joined the segment, making it clear he had no interest in either man’s complaints. He mocked McIntyre’s emotional outburst, taking a jab at his frustrations. In a particularly pointed moment, Knight sarcastically remarked, “Oh yeah, I forgot to get my spots in!”—a direct reference to reports suggesting McIntyre was upset after the Royal Rumble because LA Knight needed to “get his stuff in.”
Later in the night, Damian Priest also chimed in on the situation. Backstage, he joked that if McIntyre had lost his Men’s Elimination Chamber qualifier, he would have immediately taken to social media to complain.
With tensions building, McIntyre’s fresh start on SmackDown already looks to be a turbulent one.
