3/28 WWE SmackDown Results – We are live from the O2 Arena in London, England, as Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring to start the show.
Cody wants to know what the people of London wants to talk about. Cody looks at the Wrestlemania sign and he says that he will be facing John Cena at Wrestlemania as he goes to break the record and win number seventeen. That is Wrestlemania 41. In a few nights, he will be standing in the ring with John Cena in this city in this arena.
Randy Orton’s music plays and he comes to the ring.
Randy says he isn’t the sentimental type, but they are in London, so screw it. Randy says look at the man you are now and where you came from. Randy says he remembers a Cody Rhodes in his early 20s breaking into the business and breaking his ass as hard, or harder than everyone else. He says Cody wasn’t always happy. He says Cody was frustrated and he was smart enough that he needed to grow but couldn’t do it in a WWE locker room. Randy says it took big ass balls to do what he did by leaving the company. You changed the business and everyone knows that. You came back. We knew you would come back. The industry has changed forever since you returned to WWE.
Randy says he didn’t know what to expect at first, but you are the same guy. You grew. Randy says he would join in singing with the crowd, but they might leave. So the crowd sings without Randy. Randy asks the crowd if they remember when Cody faced Seth Rollins in Hell in a Cell. You started that match with a partially torn pec and ended with a fully torn pec. The shades of purple on your body. He says it was for the people more than what you did for yourself. You went on to Wrestlemania to beat Roman Reigns and finish your story. There is always another story. You are smack dab in the middle of another one. You are in charge of your legacy and he is enjoying watching it. Sales are up and things are going well and it is 99% because of you.
Randy says he respects Cody, loves him, and is proud of him. It is time for Wrestlemania and he can guarantee that he is going to kick Kevin Owens so hard in the head that he can feel it already. He cannot wait to remove Kevin’s head from his shoulders. Randy says Cody will enter Wrestlemania as champ and he will leave Wrestlemania as champ, but after kicking Cena up and down the Strip. Just like Cena is coming after 17, Randy says he will be coming after 15 at some point.
Randy says he won’t kick Cody in the balls like a coward. He will look Cody in the eye and he will tell Cody that he is coming for the title.
Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage and he waves at Randy and Cody.
He says isn’t this wonderful. A few nepo babies having a love fest in the middle of the ring and it makes him sick. If Cody gets past Cena, you are coming after the title? What have you done to justify the title match other than being Randy Orton. You have been on the shelf for months and months. More people talk about his five minute and forty-six second title reign than your entire return. Go to the back of the line.
Drew tells Cody he should have listened to him. You should have listened to him about John Cena but he kicked you in the twig and berries. You should be facing the only UK World Champion, but it was stopped by that makeup wearing Temu Undertaker, Damian Priest.
Drew says it won’t be Randy who takes the title from Cody if he gets past John Cena, it will be him.
Randy asks Drew to cut to through the BS.
Drew says KO might have a point and the voices are talking to you and they know Drew well. You look great and are jacked . . . on the outside. He says on the inside, you are hanging together by a thead and he will break it.
Cody with a drop down uppercut to Drew and Randy goes for an RKO but Drew escapes and goes to the floor.
The teams in the tag title match walk in the back.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre is announced for later tonight.
The Street Profits vs. Pretty Deadly
Kit and Dawkins start things off and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle. Kit with a kick but Dawkins with punches in the corner. Dawkins with an Irish whip and Elton absorbs the impact and Kit with a kick. Elton tags in and Kit wit a reverse atomic drop and a drop kick. Kit and Elton with a double hip toss to Ford and a DDT to Dawkins. Elton with a European uppercut or two. Kit tags in and Elton with a shoulder and Kit with an elbow in the corner. Kit with a punch to Dawkins and he knocks Ford off the apron. Dawkins with a forearm to Kit followed by shoulders in the corner and punches. Ford tags in and he sends his greeting to Prince across the ring. Kit returns the favor but Ford with a kick. Ford with a front face lock.
Kit with punches and a sunset flip but Ford rolls through and he kicks Kit. Ford mocks Elton and that draws him into the ring. Dawkins tags in and he connects with a forearm and Irish whip. Dawkins misses the twisting splash into the corner but Ford tags in and blocks Kit from making the tag. Kit escapes a suplex and makes the tag to Elton. Elton with clotheslines and an Irish whip followed by elbows into the corner. Elton with a wrist clutch exploder and a springboard back elbow for a near fall. Ford with a waist lock and Elton escapes. Ford with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Dawkins and Kit tag in and Dawkins with a twisting butterfly suplex. Dawkins gets Kit on his shoulders but Kit escapes and he sends Dawkins into the turnbuckles to stop Ford. Kit with a rebound clothesline and then they hit the catapult codebreaker for a near fall.
Dawkins with Sky High and Ford goes up top but Kit pushes Elton out of the way and Ford hits the frog splash on Kit and Ford is pushed onto Elton for the cover and a near fall. Ford with a German suplex but Kit breaks up the cover. All four men get up in a corner and Kit with a spear on Ford while Elton hits an uppercut on Dawkins. They hit Spilled Milk on Dawkins but Ford breaks up the cover. Elton sends Ford over the top rope to the floor. They set for the catapult Codebreaker but Dawkins catches Kit and Dawkins sends Kit to the apron. Dawkins gets Kit on his shoudlers and they hit the Doomsday Blockbuster for the three count.

Backstage:
We take a look at Zelina Vega with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Alba Fyre and Piper Niven show up to check out the area to make sure it is safe. Zelina says that we know she is small, but this small threat is a big threat for the title. That is why all three of you were needed for Green to win. Kayden and Katana challenge them to a match.
We go to commercial.
– Back from the brak and we are told that the Wrestlemania 13 match between Bret Hart and Steve Austin is being inducted into the Hall of Fame and they will be at the ceremony.
– Paul Heyman emerges from his vehicle with Roman Reigns. The Romanettes (his ‘security’ detail) follows closely behind.
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre
Fyre and Chance start things off and Alba with a knee and forearm. She gets Chance on her shoulders but Chance escapes. Carter tags in and Chance trips Fyre and Chance kicks her. Carter with a kick for a near fall. Chance tags in and Carter with an Irish whip but Fyre sends her to the apron. Chance with an arm drag and she is elevated onto Fyre with a cross body. Piper with a cannonball to Chance and Carter.
Piper sends Chance into the apron. They return tot he ring and Piper works on the back while mocking Chance to make the tag when Carter is not on the apron. Piper with an Irish whip and they send her into the turnbuckles. Fyre tags in and she hits a suplex and gets a near fall. Fyre sends Chance into the turnbuckles. Piper chokes Chance while Fyre distracts the referee. Fyre with a rear chin lock. Chance with punches and Fyre with a knee and she goes for a slam but Chance escapes. Carter tags in and she takes care of Piper on the apron and connects with a series of forearms. Carter with a victory roll and kick. Carter with a running boot against the ropes and follows with a springboard leg drop for a near fall.
Fyre kicks Carter and Piper tags in. Carter with a jackknife and Piper goes for a back senton and she misses Carter and hits Fyre. Carter sends Chance at Piper but cannot hit a Codebreaker. Carter with a forearm and she hits a Samoan Drop. They hit a Keg Stand on Piper for a near fall. Carter kicks Fyre to the floor. Carter with a cross body onto Fyre on the floor. Chance tags in and Carter with a thrust kick. Green distracts the referee and Chance gets onto the apron and Piper sends Carter into Chance and knocks her off the apron. Piper with a Piper Driver for the three count.
Winners: Piper Niven and Alba Fyre
After the match, Fyre and Piper attack Chance and Carter while Green watches. Zelina Vega comes to the ring and she takes care of Fyre on the floor and hits a tornado DDT on Piper. Green with punches to Vega. Vega escapes UnprettiHER and Vega with back fists. Vega goes for Code Red but Fyre with a super kick to stop her and Piper with a back senton.
– LA Knight walks in the back and we go to commercial.
WWE United States Championship Match
LA Knight (c) vs. Braun Strowman
They lock up and Braun pushes Knight away. They lock up again and Knight suffers the same result. Knight with a side head lock and he escapes a belly-to-back suplex. Knight cannot get Braun up. Knight with a kick and Braun with a hip toss for a near fall. Braun with a forearm into the corner followed by a splash. Knight drops down and Braun cannot hit the brakes so he goes over the top rope to the floor. Knight with a few drop kicks through the ropes. Knight turns around into a boot from Braun. Braun sends Knight back into the ring and Knight rolls to the floor on the other side. Braun, forgetting that he is in the UK does the Wacky Lap the American way but Knight gets back into the ring. Braun with an uppercut.
Braun goes to the turnbuckles but Knight escapes and Knight shows Braun how to punch people on the turnbuckles. Braun carries Knight off the turnbuckles but Knight goes for a sunset flip. Braun does not go over and he stomps on Knight. Braun with a head butt and a hard Irish whip. Braun sends Knight to the floor and Braun follows. Braun sends Knight into the ringside barrier and he follows with a head butt. They return to the ring. Braun with a forearm on the apron. Knight kicks Braun and tries for a Saito suplex but Braun blocks it. Braun runs into a boot and Knight with a bulldog off the turnbuckles. Knight with jabs. Braun with a knee and he tries for a slam but Knight escapes. Knight sends Braun into the turnbuckles and he hits a belly-to-back suplex. Knight sets for the YEAHple’s Elbow and he connects for a near fall.
Knight with a kick and Braun blocks a BFT and he sends Knight to the mat. Braun clotheslines Knight to the floor and the shirt comes off. It is time for the Wacky Lap and Fatu with a flying back elbow. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: Braun Strowman
After the match, Fatu goes after Braun and hits a Samoan drop on the announce table. Fatu sends Braun into the ring and he connects with head butts. Fatu with more head butts. Knight with a kick to stop a running hip into the corner. Knight with punches but Fatu hits a pop up Samoan drop on Knight. Fatu with two running hips to Braun. Fatu sets for a third one and he hits it. Fatu looks around and he hits a double jump moonsault. Fatu thinks about another moonsault and he hits a second one.
– We see what happened between Jimmy Uso and Gunther on Raw.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is in the back with Jimmy Uso. She asks about the slap from Monday night. Jimmy says he would do it again. Jey is up in his head. Just because he is 0-3 against Gunther, it does not mean he can’t win. He will bust Gunther’s ass on Monday and then Jey will win at Westlemania.
Miz and Carmelo Hayes stop Jimmy in the hallway. Miz says it is funny that Jimmy is a tough guy now after being ‘the other’ Uso. You are career side kicks. Neither of you are going to beat Gunther. Miz says Jimmy will know what it means to carry this company. Miz tells Jimmy he wouldn’t get away with it if he slapped him. Miz flinches and Jimmy says he is going to make a match for him and Miz tonight.

Backstage:
We are back and Jacob Fatu walks in the back and he is stopped by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. He wants to know why Jacob is out there by himself. Jacob says he doesn’t need their approval after what happened last week. Solo tells Jacob to lower his tone. Fatu says when it comes to Braun Strowman, he will be the last man standing. He says he is bringing the title to the family with you or without you. He asks them if they know what he means.
Naomi Sends a Message to Jade Cargill
Naomi mumbles and she says one thing she knows is that she is the woman to do the right thing. Bianca, what makes you think that the attack on Jade was anything different than doing the right thing? When she thinks about all she has sacrificed, it breaks her heart. Through all of that, she is made out to be the bad one. She does not know how Jade comes in, out of nowhere, and takes her place, with you. She tells Bianca to think about who inspired her and inspired women over the last decade? Who has had your back since day one? It was her, not Jade.
Naomi says what she has learned through all of this is that she is tired of being treated like the third wheel and pushed aside. She will not be unappreciated. Moving forward, if you continue to be in her way, she advices Jade to proceed with caution.
Backstage:
Nick is in OFFICE with Jade and Jade wants to know where Naomi is. Nick says no one has seen her. Jade says she will get her hands on her.
B Fab and Michin tell Jade what Naomi did was trash. Michin says she will deal with Charlotte while Jade deals with Naomi. B Fab wishes Jade luck against Naomi.
We go to commercial.
– We are back wtih a video for the likely return of Aleister Black.
Michin vs. Charlotte Flair
Naomi attacks Michin before Charlotte gets to the ring and she hits an X Factor on Michin and pucnhes her. Naomi kicks Fab off the apron. Naomi sends Fab into the ringside barrier. Naomi with punches and she sends Fab into the announce table and follows with punches.
Jade Cargill’s music plays so Naomi stops her assault on Fab. Jade gets to ringside and Naomi goes into the crowd. Jade checks on Fab while Naomi escapes.
Jade helps Fab to the back and Charlotte starts to make her way to the ring. We see Jade and Charlotte stop to stare at each other before they go on their way.
The bell rings. Flair with a boot and she gets a near fall. Charlotte slams Michin’s head into the mat. Flair with a forearm and chop. Michin avoids a chop and hits a head scissors take down. Michin with a running drop kick. Flair with a back breaker and she sends Michin into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Flair with a head scissors and she drives Michin’s head into the mat and then she rolls Michin around the ring in th head scissors. Michin with a back elbow and boot. Flair with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Flair with a reverse chin lock. Michin with forearms and she hits a tornado DDT. Michin gets a near fall. Flair avoids Eat Defeat and hits a belly-to-back suplex. Flair with the Flair flip and a boot from the apron and a slingshot rollup. Michin with a round kick.
Michin misses a cannonball in the corner and Flair with a kick. Flair goes to the turnbuckles but Michin stops her and Michin with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Flair with a forearm but Michin with a boot and a running kick for a near fall. Michin with a waist lock and Flair with a back elbow and chops. Flair misses a boot and hits the ropes. Michin with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Michin with a cannonball. Michin sets for Eat Defeat but Charlotte pushes Michin away. Michin escapes a suplex and Michin hits Eat Defeat but Charlotte gets her foot on the rope to stop the count. Flair goes to the floor against the ring steps. Michin misses a kick and hits the steps. Flair sweeps the leg.
Flair with a knee drop to the leg and a figure four leg lock. Flair bridges and Michin taps.
Winner: Charlotte Flair
Backstage:
Jackie is with Tiffany Stratton in the back. She asks Tiffany about last week’s interview. She says Charlotte loves to hear herself talk and she can’t let a rookie get a word in. She says she doesn’t have anything to lose at Wrestlemania. If she loses, she is a 25 year old rookie who lost to Charlotte Flair. Tiffany says Charlotte has more to lose at Wrestlemania. Maybe Charlotte will finally shut up. She says what will stay in Vegas will be Charlotte’s massive ego because she is walking out of Wrestlemania with the title.

Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
They lock up and they go around the ring until Orton applies a side head lock. Drew with a shoulder tackle. Drew wants a test of strength and he kicks Orton and sends him into the turnbuckles. Drew sets for punches in the corner but Randy drops Drew on the turnbuckles. Randy with punches to Drew from the turnbuckles and he sends Drew shoulder first into the ring post. Drew kicks Randy and sends him into the announce table. Drew sets for a back drop driver onto the announce table but Randy blocks it and Randy drops Drew onto the table with a back drop driver. Randy returns to the ring and the crowd wants more from Randy so he goes back to the floor. Orton with a European uppercut and he hits another back drop driver onto the announce table. Orton breaks the count.
Drew with a thumb to the eyes and he sends Orton into the ring post. Drew with a side Russian leg sweep into the ringside barrier. Drew sends Randy back into the ring. Drew works on the back with seated splashes to the back. When Drew goes for a third one, Randy turns over and Drew lands awkwardly. Randy wtih a thumb to the eye followed by a punch. They go back and forth with punches. Randy gains the advantage but Drew with a head butt and he gets a near fall. Drew with an arm bar. Orton with punches and Drew with a chop. Drew with a punch and chops. Drew with an Irish whip but you don’t Irish whip Randy into the turnbuckles because he will clothesline you. Orton with another clothesline and he ducks one from Drew. Randy with a power slam.
Drew drops Randy on the top rope. Randy sends Drew to the apron for an IEDDT and Orton hits it. Randy twists to the mat and he sees Kevin Owens in the aisle. Drew with a Claymore for the three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
After the match, Owens pulls Orton from the ring and puts him on the announce table. Kevin goes for a pile driver, but Orton escapes and he drops Kevin on the announce table. Orton lines up for a kick to the head but Kevin gets into the crowd and goes to the back.
– We are back and Rey Fenix is coming next week.
– Next week, Naomi faces B-Fab.
The Miz vs. Jimmy Uso
They lock up and Miz misses a punch. JImmy with a chop and a double leg take down and punches. Miz with a kick but Jimmy with a clothesline. Jimmy with a chop. Miz with an Irish whip and Jimmy floats over and Jimmy with an uppercut. Miz with a knee to the midsection followed by a boot to the head. Miz with knees to the back. Miz rakes at the face and hits a splash to the back against the ropes. Jimmy avoids a boot and then he clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor. Miz gets out of the way when Jimmy teases a dive to the floor. Jimmy punches Miz to send him into the time keeper’s area. Jimmy sends Miz back into the ring and Miz drops Jimmy on the top rope. Miz with Reality Check for a near fall.
Miz with a boot to the head and he applies a reverse chin lock. Jimmy with elbows to escape. Miz pulls Jimmy down by the hair. Miz with a seated splash to the back. Miz misses a move into the corner when Jimmy moves. Jimmy with a clothesline or two. Jimmy with a thrust kick and uppercut followed by a Samoan drop. JImmy is sent to the apron and Jimmy with a punch. Jimmy leaps over Miz and Miz with an STO. Miz sets for Skull Crushing Finale but Jimmy drops down and gets a near fall with a Victory Roll. Miz with a reversal for a near fall. Miz with a DDT for a near fall. Miz with kicks to the chest. Miz misses a round kick and Jimmy with a dragon whip. Miz with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Miz sets for the Awesome Clothesline and hits it. Miz goes for a springboard move but Jimmy counters with a super kick.
Jimmy with a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Jimmy Uso
After the match, Jimmy tells Gunther he is coming after him Monday and Gunther will salute him.
Backstage:
Drew McIntyre walks int he back and he talks to Lewis Capaldi in the back and they talk about plans after the show. Jackie comes over to talk to Drew. She asks about the win and what happened. Drew says he does not care about other people’s business. When no one gets involved with his business, he wins. Priest doesn’t have the balls to show up tonight.
Drew leave the buidling and Damian Priest is waiting in the garage. Priest attacks Drew and Drew sends Priest into someone’s car and Priest attacks RANDOM PERSON. They continue to fight by the car. Priest grabs Drew by the eyes and Priest with a choke slam onto the window. Priest says he is done and he asks if there are any other jokes. He tells Drew to rest in peace.
CM Punk and the Punkettes walk in the garage and they stop to stare at what is left of Drew McIntyre.
We go to commercial.
In the Arena:
Nick Aldis is in the ring with TABLE, CHAIRS, and CONTRACT. He says you know why he is here and why this table is here. He says you know why additional security is here. It is to sign the contract for the biggest Triple Threat Match. It will be Seth Rollins versus CM Punk versus Roman Reigns.
Roman is the first to come to the ring and he is joined by Paul Heyman. Paul hands the microphone to Roman. Roman asks London to acknowledge him.
Roman takes his seat at table enjoying the huge Roman Reigns chants. Roman says this is beautiful the way you sing to him. Paul joins the crowd.
Roman says he is the biggest star on the planet. He says he came here for two reasons. One, to be acknowledged. Two, to sign this contract. Roman signs the contract.
Roman is interrupted by Seth Rollins’ music.
Seth makes his way to the ring and he holds the mic up to Paul for him to hum along to his music.
Seth cackles and he says you have some beautiful singing voices. He wonders why Roman is in such a hurry to get out of here. He says twelve years ago, they landed on the roof in a helicopter and they were ready to tear down this building. He says they sent Undertaker through a table. They have been through a lot over the years. Seth says they accomplished their mission.
Roman says you keep saying WE. Our mission. WE died a long time ago. It has only been me. You have been here, but Roman says he has done all the work. He says he has made this place what it is today. Roman says he made this place better than they found it. He brought them to Netflix and got billion dollar deals.
Seth says that is the mindset that has made him screw over Roman. The danger is right in front of them. You let the biggest snake, CM Punk, into the garden. You could have cut his head off at War Games, but you shook his hand. I could have finished him in the Garden but you didn’t let me. I am here to clean up your mess, again.
Seth signs the contract.
CM Punk’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Punk says he has come here to chew bubble gum and sign a contract. Punk says he is all out of bubble gum. Punk reviews the contract and Roman wants to know if Punk needs a highlighter. He tells Punk to look at page 4. Roman says it is TV so let’s do it today. Roman asks Paul to help Punk.
Paul tells Punk it is in the contract. You are closing the show at Wrestlemania. You get to live your dream. You are a Wrestlemania Main Eventer.
Seth says this is not something to laugh at. You don’t deserve it. He says Punk doesn’t deserve it.
Seth throws a fit and he says main eventing Wrestlemania is sacred. It means more to him than anything other than the fact that Punk never main evented Wrestlemania. Seth blames Paul and Roman.
Punk stands up and he thanks London, Chicago, Louisville, and to the fans who stood by him and chanted his name for ten long years.
Roman tells Punk there is only one person that he should be thanking. It is because of him that you are in the main event. He wants Punk to acknowledge him.
Punk gets on his knee and he looks at Roman and he thanks his tribal chief for allowing a kid from Chicago to be graced by his presence and to stand in his ring. He thanks Roman, but he will see him in the main event of Wrestlemania.
Punk signs the contract.
Punk thanks Roman and he says that is not the favor that he is owed.
We go to credits.
