Fraxiom Debuts on WWE SmackDown – As noted earlier today, the high-octane duo of Nathan Frazer and Axiom, collectively known as Fraxiom, made their tag team debut on the April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, picking up a big win over Angel and Berto of Los Garza. This marks the team’s first match together on the blue brand since transitioning from NXT, where they were two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
The fast-paced bout saw both teams showcase their athleticism, but it was Fraxiom who stood tall in the end. After Axiom delivered a stunning Spanish Fly to Angel, Frazer followed up with a picture-perfect Phoenix Splash to secure the three-count and give the SmackDown newcomers their first official main roster win.
While this was their first match together as a team on the main roster, both Frazer and Axiom had previously competed individually on recent episodes of SmackDown. Axiom went one-on-one with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER on March 14, while Frazer battled Rey Fenix in a hard-hitting match on April 4.
Fraxiom’s resume in NXT is impressive. Across two title reigns, they held the NXT Tag Team Championship for a combined 356 days before dropping the belts to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger at NXT Stand & Deliver earlier this month.
With their debut win, Fraxiom has quickly staked a claim in the WWE tag team division, and their momentum suggests they’ll be a major factor moving forward.
