“I’m waiting for this one to join me in the ring, so yes, there will be a Bella Twins comeback,” Nikki said, making it clear that a WWE return for the iconic duo is not a matter of if—but when.
Nikki Bella surprised fans earlier this year with an appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Following that appearance, she confirmed her interest in returning to WWE for a role that would have significant impact, though no exact timeline was given at the time.
While Brie Bella’s return status has not yet been officially confirmed, Nikki’s comments suggest that the door remains open for a full-fledged Bella Twins reunion on WWE programming in the near future.
Adding fuel to the speculation, current WWE Superstar Chelsea Green issued a direct challenge to Nikki Bella in a video posted to the official Xfinity Instagram Story. Green made it clear she wants a showdown with the Fearless One at SummerSlam 2025.
“I’m calling out Nikki Bella,” Green stated in the video. “Nikki, SummerSlam is only a few months away, honey, here I am.” She added, “At this point I’m giving Diva, I’m giving President, I’m giving everything that you used to give, Fearless. So here I am waiting.”
WWE SummerSlam 2025 is set to take place over two nights—Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3—at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. With the event fast approaching, all eyes will be on whether the Bella Twins—and particularly Nikki—will answer the challenge and make their highly anticipated in-ring return.
