According to a new report, TNA Wrestling expressing serious interest in multiple members of the Wyatt Sicks could lead to a major talent influx following the group’s unexpected release from WWE this past April.
The Takedown on SI reports that TNA internal management is actively eyeing several members of the former WWE faction as potential roster acquisitions. However, there is no confirmation that formal contracts or agreements have been finalized with any of the five performers.
Unclear Which Former Members Are Targeted
During their WWE run, The Wyatt Sicks consisted of Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis. While the exact talent targeted by TNA remains unspecified, bringing in any combination of Gacy, Lumis, Rowan, or Dallas would immediately bolster TNA’s tag team and midcard divisions.
The report outlined the current status of the interest:
“The Takedown on SI has learned that TNA Wrestling has expressed serious interest in bringing in multiple members of the Wyatt Sicks, but we have not been able to confirm at this time whether a deal has been reached with any of the five former WWE Superstars.”
Independent Activity Since Leaving WWE
Following their releases, several members of the faction have maintained their working relationships on the independent circuit:
- Tag Team Contingent: Joe Gacy (now competing as Joseph Sawyer) and Dexter Lumis (wrestling as Samuel Shaw) have reunited as a tag team on the independent scene. Gacy also holds the GCW World Championship.
- Upcoming Trio Match: Gacy, Lumis, and Erick Rowan (competing as Erick Redbeard) are set to team up on November 6 for Boca Raton Wrestling in Miami, taking on Gangrel and The Righteous.
- Solo Pursuits: Nikki Cross has resumed competing under her Nikki Storm persona and co-owns PROGRESS Wrestling alongside her husband, Big Damo.
- Group Leader: Bo Dallas has remained out of the ring since departing WWE, where he led the faction as Uncle Howdy to honor the legacy of his late brother, Bray Wyatt.
The potential acquisitions arrive at a crucial time as TNA builds toward Bound For Glory 2026, which takes place October 11 in Tampa, Florida.
