Tatum Paxley Shares Insight On Her Transition To The Main Roster

Tatum Paxley is lifting the curtain on her transition from NXT to WWE SmackDown, describing her early months on the main roster as “very last minute” and “very chaotic.”

Paxley officially debuted on Friday nights earlier this year following a prominent tenure in NXT. Since joining the main roster, she has aligned herself alongside veteran stars Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, stepping directly into high-profile television storylines.

“Expect The Unexpected”

Appearing as a guest on Busted Open Radio, Paxley detailed how approaching her main roster call-up with a flexible mindset allowed her to adjust smoothly to last-minute creative changes and live television schedules:

  • “Yeah, so I came here with full expectation: be on your toes, expect the unexpected,” Paxley explained. “And I had that so in my mind that, you know, everything is very last minute.”
  • “It is very chaotic, but I already came up here knowing that and being comfortable with that.”

Navigation & Parking Panic Behind The Scenes

Surprisingly, Paxley revealed that the most demanding aspect of stepping up from NXT’s centralized Performance Center schedule in Orlando to WWE’s touring brand isn’t what happens inside the arena. Instead, navigating unfamiliar city centers and finding hotel parking causes her the most anxiety:

  • “I freak out parking the car in the hotels when, like, I can’t find the parking garage,” Paxley admitted. “Like, I get so stressed driving in these downtown areas and getting to the venue. I panic so hard.”
  • “In the building we’re good, but to it, I hate it.”
